"How to Sell a Banksy" Official Movie Trailer
How do you sell street art? A "Banksy" is worth millions, but he installs his pieces for free. The process from street to sale is a convoluted, chaotic, and sometimes criminal process.
A new documentary by Alper Cagatay and Christopher Thompson, "How to Sell a Banksy," explores the market behind the famed street artist.
The bizarre life of Banksy's art has been underscored in the past week with the reactions from both the establishment and fellow artists to Banksy's guerrilla pre-Oscar campaign promoting his own documentary, "Exit Through the Gift Shop." Last week, officials ripped down his billboard on Sunset Boulevard and over the weekend, his crayola shooter in Westwood was defaced.
And here... an instructional video on how to sell a Banksy and make bank.
Dance Yrself Clean - LCD Soundsystem - Muppets rock out in Brighton !
The beginning of Javier Douglas's unofficial video for LCD Soundsystem's "Dance Yrself Clean" is something of a revelation--James Murphy sounds a heck of a lot like Kermit the Frog. Though this is not the first time Jim Henson's most famous Muppet croaked out some LCD jams, this cut is oddly suited to Kermit's vocal stylings. Whereas his first dalliance with LCD Soundsystem saw him crooning the soft ballad "New York, I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down," Kermit rocks full throttle in this video. Not only that, but he brings along some friends.
Joined by fellow Muppets Animal and Miss Piggy and a baby version Cookie Monster from "Sesame Street," Kermit and crew live out the rock star lifestyle. They deliver a rousing rooftop performance (a la The Beatles and U2) to a crowd of bystanders in the British town of Brighton, hit the club, make out, and get drunk on the beach. It's peculiar to see these lovable childhood puppets enjoy themselves with such abandon, but Kermit and company do a fantastic job of dancing themselves clean. After nine minutes, these Muppets prove they have more rock and roll swagger than most humans.

Yuuuuummm St Andrews Country Club Supima® Argyle Button-Front Cardigan
I'm not big on cardigans. In fact they look downright atrocious on me. Maybe it's because of my wide shoulders that resemble that of a large air force carrier. Either way I think I just found the one cardigan from Brooks Brothers that could change all that.

Gucci autumn/winter 2011 at Milan Fashion Week
via The Telegraph
Frida Giannini opens Milan Fashion Week with a bold, jewel-coloured collection for Gucci.
Gucci opened Milan Fashion Week today with a bold collection of jewelled colours, provocative, sheer evening gowns, and extravagant fox jackets dyed in shades of purple, emerald, turquoise, orange and fuschia.
The collection, designed by Frida Giannini, Gucci's creative director, focused on a 1940's-meets-1970's silhouette, inspired by Faye Dunaway in 'The Eyes of Laura Mars', and the style of the flame-haired, British singer, Florence Welch, of Florence & The Machine.
The look for day was dandified, with bright fox jackets and stoles, fitted, belted waistcoats, and culottes, worn with feather-trim Trilby's, pussycat-bow blouses, and patent or snakeskin boots. Coloured feathers also decorated the models' ponytails.
For evening, the mood shifted into sultry, seductive mode, the models swishing down the carpeted catwalk in see-through, halter-neck, red carpet gowns, festooned with cascades of silk roses, and split to the waist over matching "big knickers".
Tonight, Giannini will launch "The Fiat 500 by Gucci", a special edition of the iconic car which she has customized in a modernist black, white and chrome palette, to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the famous luxury fashion brand, as well as the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy.
The new car will also be presented at the Geneva Auto Show in March, in a Gucci pop-up store on the Fiat stand.
