Burberry Spring 2009 Mens

As far as catwalks go this is probably by far my favorite! Creative Director Christopher Baily for Burberry unleashed what I think was the highlight of this years show at Milan! Fantastic colors, fits, and fabric make this years best show. They still suck for moving their manufacturing operations to China though. Click on the pic to see a larger view.

Simply put...beautiful!

Its been years since I've swore to myself never again...never again shall I wear anything that bears the name Banana Republic! Too conservative, too establishment!!! No no no...it served its purpose never again! That is...until now. In recent weeks I've been buying a few pieces here and there. Particularly of interest is the footwear. One pair which stands out are the red desert boots I bought for a meansely $20! Mind you they were on sale. Anyway the day I wore them out I got allot of stares (good ones) and commpliments and people asking me where I got them. One thing I stand by to this day is one of the best suits one can buy is from Banana Republic. Incredible attention to detail. Of particular interest is the woman's dress which you see above. Simply put...beautiful!

Kicks Galore!

I love me some canvas footwear and Tretorn is defo ahead of the game. Along with the recent opening of Tretorn's first NYC store, their recently announced Autumn/Winter 2008 collection, called Gullwing, is full of shoes riffing on the preppy classic in ways we can get behind. The Skymra, for example, swaps out laces for asymmetrical elastic bands, transforming the classic silhouette of the tennis shoe into an avant-slip-on. The canvas version ($70) in bright yellow with a gray band is one of those perfectly harmonious colorways and will likely become a summer wardrobe staple.
